As Michael Ballweg described, multiple videos from Mannheim, Öhringen, and Stuttgart were shown in court. These recordings featured public speeches and social media content from QUERDENKEN-711. “A state must be able to endure this. A democracy must be able to handle it. But legally, there was nothing criminal about it, absolutely nothing,” stated attorney Reinhard Löffler.

State Security Witness Lacks Substantial Findings

A state security investigator, responsible for religious ideologies and Islamism, was called as a witness but failed to provide any substantive answers. He was unable to determine who managed the QUERDENKEN-711 website and social media channels, nor could he prove that Michael Ballweg himself created or administered the content.

“The police assume he was responsible just because his name was in the legal notice – but in the IT world, that is far from sufficient proof,” explained Löffler. Even the court appeared surprised by the lack of solid evidence.

Financial Allegations Further Weakened

Another focus was on the financial structure of QUERDENKEN-711. The claim that Ballweg had made significant profits from merchandise sales was once again disproven. “There were no payments, no license fees – the myth of the money-making machine has taken a major hit today,” Löffler stated.

Michael Ballweg: Financial Repression Through Account Closures

At the end of the hearing, Ballweg pointed out that his bank account had once again been closed – another example of financial repression against political movements. “This presents serious challenges for me. That’s why I am turning to Bitcoin and encourage everyone to learn about it,” Ballweg said.

The trial will resume on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, with two witnesses testifying on the topic of foundations.
